Dangerous clothing factories work conditions On 24 April 2013, in Rena Plaza, there was accident in which building collapsed killing and hurting a lot of people, mostly factory's workers. It occurred in a factory, in which clothing was produced for many different brands, and where mostly women around age of 18 to 35 worked. It made impact on how we look at factories work conditions, that aren't decent at all. This was not a single accident, there are thousands of dangerously built factories which shouldn't be someone's workplaces. This event started Fashion Revolution which pointed out overproduction of clothing, environment pollution caused by fabrics dye, and other chemicals that are needed for clothes productions, and which pollute rivers, but mostly it was focused on workers situation and dangers that could occur in their jobs, if their work standards won't change for better. Fashion Revolution Week catchphrase was question"Who made my clothes?"...

Controversial collection from NYFW 2017 On February of this year on New York Fashion Week we could see collection that was created by Daisuke Obana for Men's, that was inspired by homeless people clothing. As admission to the show, they read "As our designer traveled the cities of America, he witnessed the various ways in which people there lived on the streets and the knowledge they have acquired while doing so. His observations of these so-called homeless or street people revealed that them to be full of clever ideas for covering the necessities of life." Outfits showed by their designer were high quality and from expensive and well made materials, which contrasted with the way they looked. Many layers of clothing and hoodies on models heads prevailed the catwalk. This collection made many people triggered and there's a lot of voices saying that using this kind of inspiration as a exclusive fashion wear is disrespectful and humiliating for homeless, who are loo...
