We are a throwaway society, because things we're buying are cheap and low quality. We would treasure things more if they would last longer. If you pay more for something, you don't want to throw it away, because it seems as such a waste of money. When you buy expensive shoes, you want to use them as long as you can. If big companies started to produce more high quality products, people would take better care of them so they can use them longer. We could be less of throwaway society if products that we are buying would be more worth of keeping than throwing away.

Despite living in the age of science there are still many people with mystical beliefs, which give us more interesting answers about life. Some people like to believe that there is more to life than just easily scientifically proved facts. It's nice to think that there are things that can't be explained by some smart guys in white coats. Magical beliefs accompanied people since ancient times and it occurs in all religions around the world. Summarizing, people just enjoy paranormal thinking.

Sense of humor is surely important, but it should be a good sense of humor and used only in suitable situations. If you're a person who likes to joke, people view you as more social. However we should not forget that it is not always a good moment to joke around, or that some people have pretty tasteless jokes which can often be offensive for others. Some people like telling racist or other kinds of inappropriate jokes. Good sense of humor helps in social situations, but we should remember that everything has its boundaries that should not be crossed.
